ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Unlimited Source, Inc. is an "On-line retail store" (e-Store) of MGC Companies. We sell portable barns & sheds built by MGC Buildings, Inc., manufacturing branch of MGC Companies. We are a family owned and operated business that specializes in selling custom built wooden run in sheds, shed row barns and modular center aisle horse barns known as "MGC BUILDINGS". Since 2000, our company has provided hundreds of horse owners and boarding facilities throughout East Coast with quality built portable horse barns. By specializing mostly in equine buildings, we have made many improvements in our construction and service to make sure that you as a customer is investing in a solid built and a safe structure to last you for many years.

WHAT'S NEW: We now sell different type of barn hardware & other equine product that you may buy from us at very reasonable prices. New items for 2008 include Track Stands and Barn Hardware (see "Products" for more information).

Our goal is to bring you the best customer service and craftsmanship at the most affordable price in the industry, and to make sure that all of our customers are completely satisfied with the product they get.

About our run in sheds and shed row barn improvements: Since we started to sell our portable wooden barns, we have been looking for ways to improve their construction. Here are the few things we have improved:

1. Window size: To provide more day light in stalls, we are now using 8-lite windows on all of our barns instead of 6-lite windows. Most of other manufacturers use 6-lite windows on their barns.

2. Felt paper: Felt paper underlayment is recommended by all shingle manufacturers, so we made it standard on all of our barns. Most companies offer it as an option at extra cost.

3. Window grills: To protect horses from injuries, we install heavy duty grills over all of our stall windows. When purchasing your barn, make sure all of your stall windows are protected by heavy duty window grills (not chicken wire).

4. Shingles: As of December 1, 2005 all of our sheds & barns come standard with 30 year architectural shingles on roof instead of 25 year 3-tab shingles. Architectural shingles look nicer, have longer warranty and come with higher wind load.

5. Oak Framing: In order to make our barns sturdier and heavier, we use true 4"x4" rough-cut oak posts in our run-in shed and shedrow barn construction (see compare sheds for more information). It might sound strange, but most other builders use rough-cut oak posts that are measured 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" in order to cut on cost and weight of the barn.

6. Wind Braces: In order to make our barns even sturdier, all of our run in sheds & shedrow barns come standard with wind braces.

From the president of MGC Buildings Inc (Andrew): We take time in manufacturing our portable horse barns which might cause our lead time to increase up to 4 weeks in Fall (our busiest season), but, by taking time to build, we can make sure that the quality of our construction is not compromised.
