All of our equine run-in sheds are properly constructed to ensure that you are investing in a solid built and a safe structure to last you for many years. Our run in sheds are hand crafted with true-dimensional "rough-cut" oak post & beam style framing and vertical white pine board & batten siding. Built on top of pressure treated 6"x6" sill plates to withstand many years of ground contact & by using good quality 30 year architectural shingles, felt underlayment, etc., our equine sheds are built to last, and are known for their superior construction. All of our run in sheds are built with tenacious attention to detail and are thoroughly inspected before being delivered to the customer. Our Run In Shed Advantages
All of our Equine Sheds are designed and constructed to ensure their Longevity and Animal Safety. Unlike most of other shed builders that offer features such as felt underlayment, higher wind rated roofing shingles, wind braces, etc. as an option at extra cost, all of our sheds & barns come standard with all of these features and are NOT an option on our horse barns. Why pay extra for features that should be standard in the first place? We don't believe in making money on any features that might compromise the safety and the longevity of your Equine Shed.

Our Run In Sheds are designed to comfortably accommodate horses and to give them a good and a safe shelter.
Run In Shed Openings: The width of our run-in shed openings vary from 8' to 12' depending on the size of the shed ordered, with an average opening being between 9'-10' in width. Standard height of the run-in opening is 7'. Run-ins with wider & higher openings may be custom built at extra cost. Call for more details.
Kickboards: All of our rough-cut oak kickboards are measured exactly 48" in height. When measuring from the ground to top of kickboards, you will get 53" of coverage.
How To Choose The Proper Run In Shed Size
When figuring your run-in shed size, the best rule is to use 8' of space for an average size horse (15-16 hands). If you have two 15 hand horses, the proper size would be 10'x16'. For three horses you might want to consider 10'x24' shed. If your horse is over 16 hands, it would be better to upgrade to 12' wide building. For large horses, such as 17 hands, we recommend 10' of space per horse and 12' wide building. For two large horses the proper size of the run in shed would be 12'x20'. Note: If you are thinking of getting larger horses in the future, it might be a good idea to get a larger shed in order to accommodate your future horses. When considering our recommendations, you should also consider the behavior of your horses. If your horses will not share one space, you might want to consider purchasing two or three small separate buildings instead of a single large one. If you horses are very friendly and social, you might be able to get away even with a smaller building than what's recommended.
